He has red spiky hair and green eyes. He has a purple reverse-teardrop marking under each of his eyes. He generally wears his organization outfit. It's a long bloack cloak with matching black gloves and boots. He rarely wears the hood for it. But after leaving the organization he's started to wear civilian clothes to what he used to wear before the orgniazation. While in disguise or off duty he generally wears orange shirts and brown shorts feeling nostalgic for the clothes he once wore as the young lea in Radiant Gardens.

history

For the first 13 years of his life, he grew up in Radiant Garden with his only friend Isa. He went to school but often tried to do fun things even dragging Isa off messing up Isa's schedule at times. He challenged Ventus to a fight when he met him. He lost the fight but still had fun. He then teased Isa for not trying to make up excuses and cheer him up causing the three to laugh. Lea later tells Isa he wants to be remembered as that way he'll be immortal through people's memories. Isa tells him he'd be immortal for being obnoxious to Lea's irritation. Later they decide they're ready and approach the castle.

About a year later the first half of the Organization would be created with Terra, Eraquas and Xenahort becoming one being, and the apprentices making up the other five of the original members. Several years later he and Isa were drafted into the organization as numbers seven and eight of the group. During his time he befriended Roxas.

He went to Castle Oblivion to route out traitors. Pretending to work withh Larxene and Marluxia he killed Vexen and then let Namine go help Sora. He fought Marluxia but was interrupted. After fighting Sora twice he fled knowing Sora would defeat Marluxia. He also met up with Lexaeus and Zexion who were going after Riku. After Lexaeus was killed by Riku, he sent Riku Replica after Zexion. He'd survived his battle with Riku but the Replica finished him off. The replica later was defeated by Riku. It was later revealed to be a plot by Saix as he and Axel were planning to take over the organization and with the six at the castle dead no one else was going to stand in their way of their attempted takeover.

Axel returned and reunited with Roxas. At first, he thought Roxas had replaced with Xion and he saw how she resembled Namine which shocked him. But he later became good friends with both of them. But eventually Xion disappeared and he was sent to bring her back. And later Xion and Riku were tricked into fighting each other where there would be only one victor. Axel stopped them and revealed what was going on. Xion left again only to be recaptured. Roxas and Xion fought one more time with Roxas winning. Xion began to disintegrate and absorbed into Roxas. Axel tried to get Roxas to stay but he left for good wanting to meet Sora. For the next year Axel searched for Roxas and eventually found him in the digitized Twilight Town where he'd been put there after losing to Riku in a fight.

Roxas didn't remember him and he was forced to leave as Diz arrived. He returned once more and Roxas did remember but defeated him. Then later learned the truth from Namine and reluctantly merged with Sora to restore the last of his memories and wake him up. Axel kidnapped Kairi to try to lure sora into a trap but she escaped from him and was later captured by the Organization. Axel later apologized to Sora and to make amends sacrificed himself buying Sora, Donald, Goofy and Mickey time to get to the world That Ne ver Was.

Lea later returned as a whole person in Radiant Garden with original forms of Xaldin, Lexaeus, Vexen, and Zexion. Xigbar, Saix and Xenahort were missing. He later ended up seeking answers from Yen Sid. He helped Mickey free Minnie from Maleficent and later teamed up with the group to rescue Sora from being assimilated into the 13 Xenahorts plan. He then revealed he'd been training how to summon a Keyblade and summoned one to everyone's shock including his own. He kept up his training with Yen Sid hoping to be a rival to Riku one day as a Keyblade Master.
