Lea grinned as he walked through town. He'd arrived by gummi ship. He hadn't tried opening a corridor of darkness since that day he'd helped rescue Sora. He wasn't sure if he could control the powers now that he was no longer a nobody. Yen Sid cautioned him to not dwell too much in darkness. Riku was the only one he knew who could wield both light and darkness successfully. He decided to ask Riku for help but he just wasn't sure how. He barely knew Riku. He knew Sora more than Riku and he wasn't even Sora's friend. Well part of Sora was. He still missed Roxas and he wished there was a way to split Roxas from him without hurting Sora. But he wasn't sure if that possible. He sighed heading to a parlor for ice cream. He wasn't sure if it was good as his favorite sea salt ice cream that he usually ate in Twilight Town but he decided he wanted to try it. He headed inside glancing at the menu not sure what flavor to try. |

Argus happily jogged through the streets of Disney Town, feeling like a kid in a candy store. He had heard of this world from others and it sounded like a good time. Almost like an amusement park! The teen hadn't been to one of those before! They didn't really have amusement parks back home. At least not like this. The young Keyblade wielder looked around in awe at the various stands selling colorful merchandise. Disney Town t-shirts, hats, and plushes, all sorts of cool gadgets... there was even an ice cream parlor! 'Oh yeah, that is definitely gonna be my first stop.' Argus hurried into the shop and sat down, looking at the menu.
There were all sorts of interesting flavors, the vast majority of which he had never even heard of before! There were several flavors he wanted to try, but he couldn't narrow it down to just one or two, so he decided to just buy all of them. Heading up to the counter, he decided to place his order. "Heya. I'd like a... scoop of lemon, a scoop of blue raspberry, a scoop of orange, a scoop of bubblegum, aaaand..." He thought for a moment. The teen didn't want more than five flavors. That might be a little much. Hell, five flavors was a little much on its own, he had to admit. "A scoop of birthday cake." The man at the counter quickly filled Argus's order, handing him a cone stacked comically high with his chosen flavors.
"Thanks!" The teen pulled out his wallet and paid for his treat before he sat down at Lea's table, licking the tower of ice cream hungrily. "Mm-mm! This is great." After he got a chance to try all of the flavors, he leaned over to the redhead. "I recommend the birthday cake. It's super accurate." Leaning back over, he lapped at his ice cream tower with enthusiasm.

Lea paused seeing someone order scoops of ice cream and he chuckled. He certainly liked ice cream. And in that moment his smile fell as he remembered Roxas. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. At the mention of birthday cake he shook his head. "If I wanted a cake I'd visit a bakery. I want to try their ice cream. My favorite's usually sea salt but I doubt they have it here." said Lea. He paused deciding on what he wanted. "I'll take some rocky road, vanilla, strawberry, and cookies and cream." said Lea. He decided to try a few. When the owner offered toppings he decided on the chocolate sauce and sprinkles. It looked like more a decoration than ice cream but he was here to try the food. He paid for it and seeing there weren't many open tables decided to join the stranger at his table. "Hello. I'm Lea. Got it memorized?" said Lea. He grinned and started to bit into the ice cream liking them all as they had such unique flavors. And the chocolate sauce and sprinkles helped too. |

Argus shrugged when Lea stated that if he wanted birthday cake, he would have went to a bakery. "Fair enough." He smiled and continued to lap at his ice cream when the stranger went up and ordered his. Argus simply assumed they would go their separate ways after that, but to his surprise, Lea sat with him again. He was glad for the company. Outside the Land of Departure, he got lonely rather easily. Rarely did he travel with friends. Perhaps that was something he should work on changing. Maybe he should ask Babel or Sorin out some time.
When Lea introduced himself, asking if Argus had memorized his name for some reason, the young Keyblade wielder grinned. "You bet I do." With that, he introduced himself in return. "I'm Argus, keyblade wielder." With that, the teen got back to his ice cream, having gotten through more than half of it at this point. This was some good ice cream, so he was able to get through it rather quickly. He felt some brain freeze coming on, though, so he took a quick break.
"Oooh, ow." Argus massaged his forehead briefly before turning to look back at Lea.. "So, what brings you here? Doesn't look like you're a resident of this world. Where do you come from?" Once the pain subsided, the young keyblade wielder began to lap at the diminished ice cream tower once more.

Lea continued eating some of the ice cream. He smiled as Argus said he had it memorized. "Good." said Lea. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of keyblade wielder. "You're a Keyblade Wielder too? I guess I haven't mingled with many of the new wielders yet. Ever since Castle Oblivion turned back into the Land of Departure I've mostly been training with Master Yen Sid in his tower." said Lea. He paused as the man seemed to get hurt and he chuckled. "Ice cream headache huh? Might try drinking something warm like hot chocolate. That could help." said Lea. He grinned. "I wanted to try out the ice cream. And no I'm not from here. I grew up in Radiant Garden but eventually I lost my heart. I became a Nobody and joined Organization 13. But eventually I left them and was labeled a traitor. I did some bad things at the time but I didn't have a heart. But Sora was one of the people who helped me realize I could try to be good again. I eventually helped Sora, Riku, King Mickey and the others take them down but kinda died in the process. Thankfully I got restored to my human self. Most of the Organization is humans again. Although I don't know what happened to a few of them after they were taken out. Either their Heartless are still out there so they can't reform into humans or their home worlds are just unknown." said Lea. He paused for a moment and smiled. "I am a good guy now. I hope you don't get offended or upset about my past. I'm trying to make up for it." said Lea. Argus |

Argus listened to Lea as he spoke, telling the young Keyblade wielder about his past. Apparently, he was a Nobody and a member of Organization XIII. Ever since he joined his union, he had spent much time in the library, learning about these various topics. While his studies hadn't come too far yet, he was aware of the major things like Nobodies and the Organization. Especially in recent times, those subjects have been very important. A whole war was fought quite recently with the latter, though from what he understood, they were different than the Organization Lea was apart of.
Another interesting bit of information presented itself during Lea's speech, however. He was a Keyblade wielder too. The teen wondered if he was part of a Union and if so, which Union he was apart of. These were questions for later, though. From what Lea said, he was a good guy now. "Wow, you seem to have had a very colorful past." He finished his ice cream and bit down on the cone with a loud crunch. "Anyway, what you did in the past doesn't matter to me. I think anyone can be redeemed if they really wanna be." He shrugged after that.
"Plus, you don't seem like a bad guy to me. How many bad guys go to ice cream parlors and converse with kids?" He chuckled and took another bite of his ice cream cone. "So, you're an experienced Keyblade wielder? That's pretty cool. You didn't wield a Keyblade during your time in the Organization,though, right?" From what he read, Nobodies couldn't wield Keyblades by nature of their "existence." They simply lacked what was needed.

Lea chuckled. "I guess you could say that." said Lea. He kept eating his ice cream soon finishing his as well. It was better than he thought. "This was quite good. I think I may have found a new favorite ice cream place." said Lea. He grinned at Argus's words. "Thanks. I'm glad to hear that." said Lea. He chuckled again as Argus spoke again. "Fair point." said Aksel. He shook his head. "No. I didn't. Although our superior Xenahort is a former Keyblade Wielder. He couldn't wield one after becoming a Nobody but Roxas could. He was kind of a special nobody. He was Sora's Nobody. When Sora was turned into a Heartless he was brought back to his human form by one of the princesses of heart. I guess he was basically a walking heart." said Lea. He sighed. "Roxas was my best friend in the Organization. And he could wield a keyblade. He eventually left and joined with Sora. Sora had lost his memories and some had transferred to Roxas. The only way Sora could wake up was Roxas had to disappear. I'm glad Sora's okay but I feel like I lost my best friend anyway." said Lea. |

Argus winced at the mention of Xehanort. He heard of that guy several times. He was rather important, so his name came up in a lot of the books he read. He didn't know a great deal about the man, but from what he knew and what he read, Xehanort was not at all pleasant. His goals made Argus believe he had to have been insane. Or pure evil. Or both. Thankfully, they didn't dwell on the subject of the Organization's former leader and moved on to another Keyblade wielder in the group, Roxas. He heard a little bit about that guy, mainly just that he was Sora's Nobody and so could wield a Keyblade like him, but apparently Lea was friends with him as well.
That was certainly interesting. The little history lesson Lea gave Argus served well to expand his knowledge. It was a little sad, though. Lea losing his friend and all that. He could kind of relate. Argus lost his father after all. Not in exactly the same way, but he had to deal with loss like that in his life as well. In some ways, he was luckier. The teen knew that his father was out there somewhere. He had to be. Roxas, though... it seemed like he wasn't going to be coming back. "Sorry about your friend." Argus finished his ice cream cone and wiped his hands off on a napkin. "I lost my dad when I was a kid, so I know what it's like to lose someone you care about."
Argus smiled at Lea. "You should try to be friends with Sora. I mean, better friends. I know he isn't really Roxas, but it might help you cope with losing him. I'll be your friend too if you want. You seem like a pretty nice guy."

Lea smiled. "Thanks. I know people try to understand but mostly people knew Sora not Roxas. I just wish there could have been a way for them both to live separately." said Lea. He heard about his father and smiled. "I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I don't remember my parents very well." said Lea. Lea shrugged. "I've tried but sometimes it's just so hard. He reminds me so much of Roxas. The way he smiles and moves. It just hurts being so close to him and not at the same time. Sometimes I wonder if he has Roxas's memories. It'd be one thing if he did as Roxas would feel alive. But it's like he just vanished after merging with Sora." said Lea. He grinned. "I'd like more friends." said Lea. |

"That's the tough part, isn't it? But don't worry. I'm sure there is some way to have them both live. I'm sure a lot of people would say that it is impossible, but there are a lot of things that were considered impossible that have been proven quite possible. From now on, i'm basically coming from the conclusion that nothing is impossible. We can find a way." When Lea apologized about Argus's dad, the young Keyblade wielder shrugged. "It's okay. He isn't dead or anything like that. At least, I don't believe he is. The said he was missing and "presumed" dead. I... can't even remember him, really."
Argus twiddled his thumbs a bit. "But... that makes me wanna find him even more. When I first learned of the existence of other worlds, I knew that he had to be out there somewhere." Argus's new friend then talked about how being near Sora was tough because he reminded him so much of Roxas. "I can understand that. They're kinda supposed to be the same person, so it makes sense that they are so similar to one another." Then came Lea wondering out loud if Sora had Roxas's memories. Argus himself didn't know too much about the subject, but he knew that one's memories resided in their heart.
"If Roxas is part of Sora now, I think it's safe to say that he does have his memories. They're in the heart, right? That being the case, I think he would--" The teen stopped himself. "--No, I know that he would have them." At Lea confirming that he would like to be friends, Argus smiled and extended his hand for a handshake. "Friends then."

Lea sighed. "I wish there was. I just have to accept that Roxas is gone. One friend is evil and the other is practically dead. I don't regret choosing this path or being a Keyblade Wielder. I just wish Isa and Roxas were both here fighting by my side." said Lea. Lea shrugged. "Are you sure your dad ended up in another world? I mean world travel is quite rare. Especially without a gummi ship or Keyblade. The only other way I know is by the darkness. If he's still alive he could be a Heartless or Nobody. They've been around for at over 10 years." said Lea. Lea paused at the suggestion. "But he's never said anything to me about it. Maybe memories aren't enough. It's like watching a movie of someone else's life. Just because he might have Roxas's memories doesn't mean he'd think like Roxas. Or view me as a friend." said Lea. Lea smiled and shook Argus's hand. "Friends. I could always use more friends." said Lea. Argus |

Argus frowned and looked at Lea with a saddened expression. He could understand losing hope in a situation like this. Still, it didn't make it any less sad. He resolved, then and there, to find a way to help his new friend out. The redhead mentioned something else that interested him, though Someone named Isa. Argus wondered who it was. Clearly, it was someone important to him. Maybe even in the same vein as Roxas. Then he asked if Argus was sure his father ended up on another world. The teen was aware that world travel was rare. He was even aware that it was unlikely that his father had achieved it. If he did so, why didn't he take him and his mom with him?
Could he truly be a Heartless? Or a Nobody? Or both? If he truly did find his father, would he like what he found? He pushed those thoughts aside. It was a little depressing. After that, Lea said that "He might not be able to recall them, but that doesn't mean those memories aren't there. You've got memories of Roxas too, right? Even if the people we love are gone, they'll still be alive in our hearts if we remember them." He paused after that point, then chuckled. "Sorry. I'm normally not this sappy. I've just... thought a lot about things like this." After his father disappeared, Argus tried many ways to rationalize and cope with it. Until he learned about the existence of other worlds, this was how he did so.
After that, he and Lea shook hands. Just like that, the Keyblade wielder had a new friend. "So, now that we're friends, I gotta ask. What Union are you apart of? I'm Lunar myself."

Lea sighed "It's not the same and kind of makes it worse. Sometimes I wish I could forget but then it'd like he'd really be dead because no one would really remember him. Most of the Organization just used Roxas as a weapon or a tool. Roxas and I were friends. Even though it hurts I wouldn't trade my time with him for anything. Well maybe if there was a way to bring him back. I'd give up my memories if he could come back. We could make new memories but I suppose that's just a dream." said Lea. He smiled at him. "You're doing pretty good. I never relaly talked about this kind of stuff before. If you weren't a Keyblade Wielder you might make a good shrink or at least a bartender." said Lea. He chuckled and his grin grew as they shook hands. "I'm in Lunar too. Maybe we'll be missions together at some point." said Lea. |
