feel the light shining in the dark of the night | A flower in a deep jungle. Riku wasn't sure if the task had been meant as a riddle, but it had seem fairly clear to him-- Luna had flat out stated where they were meant to go with her instructions. Deep Jungle. One of his... least favorite worlds.
Yes, because he absolutely loved sweating to death, being eaten alive by bugs, and feeling like he was about to get attacked by a leopard or a snake every time he heard a rustling behind him. Dealing with heartless was one thing, but dealing with wildlife that completely did not want you to be there? That was something else that Riku couldn't say he was happy to be a part of.
As if on cue, he found himself swatting at a buzzing insect that had tried to make a feast out of his arm before shaking his head. No point in trying to involve Tarzan or Jane since the gorilla's home clearly wasn't in the darkest part of the jungle. This was just something he would have to do on his home... much to his displeasure at the thought.
Next time Luna has a the brilliant idea to send us off chasing after flowers, I'm going to tell her to go screw herself and find it herself.

First mission: find...a flower. "You're serious?" Van was...not pleased, to say the least. His first task as a member of Team Lunar was to find some kind of special flower that Luna was probably gonna stick in her hair for one day and then toss it not even an hour later. Van was totally sure of it. Maybe this was like, a bearing test. To see how tolerable the kids were to take on all missions, silly or not. It had to be. No doubt about it. Either way, Van found himself mumbling all kinds of colorful words through his trip to the world: Deep Jungle. A planet engulfed in vines, leaves and everything in between. Now, he was no botanist- But this seemed like the perfect place to go hunting for any kind of flowers one could think of. His landing in the world was a bit sloppier than usual; He normally landed without a cinch in his gummi ship. But the vast amount of green and nature had given him some trouble. Thus, he had crashed into a few branches and trees along the way down. But, as things were intended, he did eventually escape his gummi ship and begin his mission. From what he could tell, he was alone in this. This...deep, deep jungle was his to explore. It, and it' heat and many insects that were going to love him and his delicious blood. It didn't help that he had found himself exploring the darker region of the world. Although, a bright side to this was the fact that he could have at least some fun. Deciding walking was oo much of a hassle, Van took to "grinding". Using the many vines and branches as his method of transport. Kind of like how the famous Tarzan did, but not as cool! "Yoo-hoo! Where are ya, ya dumb little flower, you.." The teenager mused, calling out to the object despite knowing full well he'd get no real response. He'd swear he wasn't alone, though.. Riku

Riku paused at the sound of the other's voice. It was one he vaguely recognized but couldn't really put a name or a face to it. Someone from the union, but not anyone that he had ever really spent time with. Someone who was clearly working on the same goal that he was, though.
He could have called out but instead Riku stayed quiet and instead just crept forward, glancing up as he followed the sound of the voice. The other might be familiar with this world, in which case they would be fine with their decision to move along the vine paths up above. But if they weren't...
Riku himself had learned about the dead areas the first time he had come here, and the pitfalls that resulted from hitting one of them.
