"SOLARIS!" The word was puncuated by the sound of a door slamming open. The few people in the room would have undoubtedly been startled, and badly, by that-- jerking and jumping in their seats as they twisted to face the man who strode into the room.
The overly-tall and shaggy-haired Union leader of the aforementioned name.
He strode inside, one hand curled into a fist as he slammed it against the flat palm of his other hand.
"We are Solaris. We are the sun. We are the shield that protects that others, their backbone, the ones who will keep them safe. We are their rock."
Sol drew in a deep breath, grinning wildly as he stood at the front of the room.
"Which is why I want you to find a rock. The strongest rock, the greatest rock-- I want you to find the best you can and bring it back to me to show me you understand just what it means to be their rock."
