At first glance, Poppy can be accurately described as a young woman whom is still in the midst of blossoming into a proper adult. Her short stature coupled by the softness of her features expose her adolescent state, and her demeanor coupled by her mannerisms only confirm this seemingly minor detail. She boasts a deceptively petite build, yet lean muscle is stored beneath her sun-kissed columns of flesh - allowing for her to maneuver about with an almost startling amount of flexibility. Small scars litter her skin, tiny little markings present which both mar and offer evidence of past moments spent indulging in risky scenarios. 

Her facial features are rounded, her inherited looks likely to be considered simple yet pretty. The small female's eyes are silver in coloration, the odd coloring serving as her most noteworthy feature. Though her auburn locks that can be mistaken as an unexpected mixture of black and crimson strands have the tendency to draw one's eye. Poppy's clothing is elaborate and carefully layered, and suits her due to its befitting combination of colors.

history

Poppy's mother was in possession of a multitude of self-destructive tendencies. She was wildly inconsistent when it came to raising her child, and regularly indulged in gambling or the consumption of alcohol. The young woman's earlier memories were that of her mother stumbling about within the confines of their cramped and messy home, rambling and muttering to herself in a nonsensical way. As a result, Poppy never formed a legitimate attachment to her dam. She was, after all, a 'maternal figure' whom cared little in regards to nurturing her properly, and so the child grew increasingly disinterested by the woman. The little female proved fiercely independent due to her unsavory circumstances, forced to manage her own care at an early stage of her life but never truly lamenting over the fact that such a thing was considered unconventional.

Poppy, as a child, was thin and quite plain. She was often hungry or cold  - oft both - but rarely complained, unwilling to ask another for assistance. Even  while in the midst of attending school, she would tuck herself into a corner, peering curiously at her classmates but never truly socializing. Such awkwardness and acts of avoidance would eventually draw in a plethora of bullies. Poppy would simply wilt, at first, in response to their verbal abuse that would rarely escalate in severity. But she would eventually respond, realizing that her fists could silence them if she struck hard and fast enough. It was only after she discovered this 'power' that she began to make use of it more often, her teachers noticing but failing to properly take action during this period of time. 

She spoke more often as she aged, her personality beginning to form and her negative traits soon outweighing the positive portions of her personality. Poppy took advantage of her mother's neglect so that she could wander and cause chaos for the sake of chaos. There was a strange thrill in observing someone shrink and reel and respond so strongly to your own actions - and she developed an addiction for it. But what had truly caused her to fall under a strange and darkened spell was munny. It took her a moment to realize its worth, and what it could grant her. And so the child would dedicate herself to acquiring a large quantity of it, becoming more subtle in her various approaches so to not draw the attention of authority figures whom populated the world. 

Poppy had become a thief - mostly self-taught - but a thief none-the-less. Her actions were sloppy at first, but luck allowed her the opportunity to wriggle out of troublesome situations. She would compile a great many treasures and valuable items as a result, carefully storing away her many prizes within multiple places. Her most precious reward for her nefarious actions was one she discovered at the age of thirteen, the item tucked away within someone's personal collection and allowed only to collect dust. It would serve as her weapon choice, the item entrancing her as she went about practicing to competently wield the tool for future use. 

As she began to enter adolescence, Poppy realized, quite suddenly, that she had no plan. The young woman was still stuck within the confines of her home in a town she cared so little for. So she went about constructing a plan that would allow for her to take leave of her world and move on to more bountiful places. Eventually, she would go about securing a route, eagerly abandoning her previous life in favor of going someplace new. It proved refreshing to venture beyond the little town that she had been forced to occupy for a significant amount of time. She took to life on her own very well, learning from her experience and only somewhat aware of the darkness festering within her.
