A laugh could be heard from Babel as she rounded the corner, vanishing from Poppy's sight-
And silence.
It wouldn't be until Poppy caught up that she could see what had caused the chatterbox to fall silent. Standing in front of her were several strange dark creatures, most taking on the appearance of overgrown ants with one that looked like a shadow entity wearing clattering armor. Its head seemed to roll about on his shoulder as it moved forward in an unnaturally jerky fashion, arms and legs bending in wrong angles.
Babel stood there, hands curled tightly into fists as she stared at them. Her breath was held-- and her head snapped to the side at the sight of Poppy. For once it was the other girl who was asking questions at the worst time, and all the red-head could do was grit her teeth and hiss out a sharp 'Shut up!' before her gaze snapped back towards the heartless.
"... Get out of here, Poppy. Now."
