One experience point is earned every time you do an IC post. That's an important distinction; plotting, playing games on the site, and anything else won't count.
You start at level Zero, and can work your way up through ten levels. To get to the last level you'll need to total of 325 exp which is... a lot. Most of the important level ups and bonuses are given prior to that, so don't worry.
The levels, and the bonuses they are, are as such:
- Newcomer: 0 Posts. At this rank, you can only use three abilities or spells, and only at level 1. Civilians will only be at this level regardless of their experience.
- Initiate: 10 Posts. At this rank you can only use three abilities or spells, with one being level 2.
- Trainee: 25 Posts. At this rank you can use four abilities or spells, with two being level 2 and two being level 1.
- Rookie: 45 Posts. At this rank you can use four abilities or spells, with one being level 3, two being level 2, and one being level 1.
- Apprentice: 70 Posts. At this rank you can use five abilities or spells, with one being level 3, two being level 2, and two being level 1.
- Examinee: 100 Posts. At this rank you can use five abilities or spells, with one being level 3, two being level 2, and two being level 2.
- Master: 135 Posts. At this rank you can use six abilities or spells, with one being level 3, two being level 2, and three being level 1. This is also the level will you can get the bonus stat star. Please see the stat guide if you have questions.
- Grand Master: 175 Posts. At this rank you can use six abilities or spells, with two being level 3, two being level 2, and two being level 1.
- Archon: 220 Posts. At this rank you can use seven abilities or spells, with one being level 4, two being level 3, two being level 2, and two being level 1.
- Grand Archon: 270 Posts. At this rank you can use seven abilities or spells, with two being level 4, two being level 3, two being level 2, and one being level 1.
- Wizard: 325 Posts. At this rank you can use eight abilities or spells, with two being level 4, two being level 3, two being level 2, and two being level 2.

You will earn 10 Munny per every post and, on top of that, you will earn 250 munny every time you rank up. This munny is used to purchase and upgrade abilities and spells.
